ProPilotWorld, besides being a top notch web board, is actually taking a stand on matters that affect professional pilots.

Most of us are disturbed by the detention in Brazil of two American pilots involved in the recent accident in that country. UAL78, a Forum Leader and board co-founder, composed a letter to the Brazilian ambassador to the United States.

UAL78 made this letter available to the board members for comment and criticism. He incorporated changes, then sent the letter.

Today, we received a formal reply from the ambassador. Thanks UAL78. The original letter, and the ambasador's reply, are available for viewing on the board.
