We fly a charter managed aircraft and depend on the revenue flying to keep the crew and support staff compensated to recent industry pay. We had just been 60 days operational, after a 90 day dry spell with no crew due to attrition of a senior captain and soft pilot pool.
Then, our new hire developed a medical issue that resulted in revocation of flight medical. Without a crew we were dead in the water looking at another 90 days (6 months this year) without revenue flying.
Thanks to posting on ProPilotWorld.com, and great networking of members, we had several candidates within the first week, and a new crew member within 9 days.
Thanks ProPilotWorld.com for hosting this site and many thanks to all who put the word out and those who responded.:2thumbup::cheers:
